Are we all Equal?

by Mac on August 12, 2010

For me, sometimes life is boring, so I give myself these big questions to answer. Being born with a disability, I would always shy away from any questions that I was insecure about, or I didn’t want to know the answer to. I guess sometimes the possibility of all possibility is better then the certainty of only one possibility. However I am also a critical thinking, and I constantly question myself.

As I started writing and rewriting my Ebook, I really started ask the questions simply for the reader, only till I realized it just a disguise to help myself realize the truth and come to better understanding of myself. Here is the exert from the Ebook :

“I don’t know, and cannot say if we are all equal, how is it that you can tally up a person, and
compare that person to another. But does it really matter? Does it matter how you experience
happiness, or wealth or love? Isn’t the goal to achieve happiness or wealth or love or whatever? That
is why I say we all experience life, in our own way. It doesn’t matter about how we experience life, it
only matters that we are experiencing life.

Yes, I am different then some people because of my “disability”, but does that mean I cannot
experience life, or anything in life in the way that “normal” person can? No, I can experience the same
things but in a different way.”

Maybe an accomplishment for me is cycling for 2 hours while for an
Olympian an accomplishment would be to cycle for 9 hours at certain speed. However we both have
accomplish what we wanted to do. And those goals, will always change as we will always grow.

I would take the risk and assume that we all have things in our life we want to achieve, we
might be completed not to find a way to achieve that goal because someone thinks it is an idea not
worth pursuing , or because of our own limits, rules and excuses that we have created.

You can read the Ebook for free, click on the “Free Ebook” tab, all I ask is for your time and attention.
